Gabby came into the limelight after she won the bronze and a silver at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the 200m & 4 x 100m relay, respectively.

She attended Williston-Northampton High School. Moreover, she set multiple school records and was MVP every single year.

Thomas is the product of Ivy League’s Harvard. Thomas won 22 conference titles in six events during her three-year athletic career.

Together, her birth parents share two children. The kids are twins; Gabby has a twin brother named Andrew.

She added Felix was her first memory of a track race she watched while at her grandmother’s house.

Under this, she wrote a thesis on the subject of rest as part of her recently completed master’s degree from the University of Texas.

Specifically, the thesis gives insight into racial disparities in sleep disorders and evaluates sleep epidemiology among Black Americans.

Thomas added,

“The biggest takeaway for me is that sleep is a public health crisis and as a society, we don’t recognize that.” 

Similarly, she said sleep holds as much concern to her as a workout, physio session, or proper diet.

Thomas isn’t wrong, though; as a rule of thumb for all elite-level athletes, they’re all very good sleepers.
