General Booty was raised by his parents, father Abram, and mother, Amy Booty. He comes from the famous Booty family in Shreveport, Louisiana.
His father, Abram, is a former Louisiana State wide receiver who had a lifelong fascination with the military and had always intended to name his son “General.”
Initially, the plan was for Booty’s parents to address him by his middle name, Axel.
However, as a child, he responded only to “General,” which became his permanent name.
General Booty is currently the starting quarterback at the University of Oklahoma, where he is pursuing a degree in Communication.
Before joining the Oklahoma team last season, Booty spent a year at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas.
He impressively passed for over three thousand yards and notched 25 touchdowns during his time there.
These statistics placed him second in the nation among NJCAA players, and in one remarkable game, he threw for an astonishing 528 yards and scored eight touchdowns.
