Stephen Curry and his wife, Ayesha Curry, have been married for 14 years. However, lately, talks about cheating and trouble in their marriage have popped up in the media.

According to reports, Stephen and Ayesha met as teenagers in a church youth group. Later, they got married in 2011 and have four kids: Riley, Ryan, Canon, and a baby girl born in 2024.

For years, fans saw them as a strong couple. However, talks about cheating and trouble in their marriage are making the rounds.

In 2025, Ayesha went on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast and opened up about her early days, which stirred cheating rumors.

She said that at 22, she was young and jumped into marriage and kids without thinking much.

Ayesha revealed she had different plans for her life, saying:

No, I don’t want kids. I didn’t want to get married. I thought I was going to be a career girl.

Ayesha added:

I spent my whole life working toward something, and then it just disappeared.

She talked about feeling lost in the mom role sometimes and wishing for more time in her career.

Fans, on the other hand, took it the wrong way. Many saw it as her regretting her life with Stephen.

In no time, comments flooded in: “Leave your wife” under his posts, or “She’ll end up divorced.”

One viral clip had people saying she was jealous of his success.

Amid scrutiny, the old ring gesture video from a 2022 TV show, when Ayesha was on “The Real” with some hosts resurfaced online. Fans linked it to her podcast words and said it proved she wanted out.

In the video, a shirtless waiter brought drinks, and she joked by pretending to take off her wedding ring. She laughed with the ladies, but when the video went viral, fans became upset.

Some said it showed she wasn’t happy. Others felt bad for Stephen and called it disrespectful.

While some even joked she was baiting him to cheat so she could leave with half his money.

Stephen posted a simple message about pushing through tough times, but trolls hit back hard. NFL star Cam Newton jumped in to defend her. He said on his show that being real about regrets is brave, not a sign of cheating.

Stephen Curry’s Wife, Ayesha, Slammed Open Marriage Rumors, “Don’t disrespect my marriage.

In late 2021, the speculation began after popular Instagram gossip page Deuxmoi hinted at an open marriage.

They cited an anonymous source to claim that an unspecified “known NBA couple” isn’t as “faithful” as they appear on social media. And fans guessed it was the Currys right away.

Ayesha shut that down quickly, replying to a comment that pointed at their rumored open marriage, writing:

Do you know how ridiculous that is? Don’t disrespect my marriage like that. Please and thank you.

She posted on her Instagram story: “How hard is it to mind your business???” She called it “crazy” and said their marriage is private.

Despite all rumors, Steph and Ayesha remain married, as there is no solid proof to support the rumors.
