Cedric Coward, an American basketball player, recently made headlines with his trade to the Memphis Grizzlies of the NBA.

Former Washington State star Cedric Coward, who was selected 11th in the 2025 NBA Draft by the Portland Trail Blazers, has been traded to the Memphis Grizzlies.

The 6’5” forward had a standout season at Washington State, averaging 17.7 points, 7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists, while shooting 56% from the field and 40% from three.

Like Cedric Coward, his longtime girlfriend, Inani Madden, also showcased her amazing basketball skills playing for the women’s varsity basketball team.

Inani Madden, a 5’10” forward, built a solid foundation in basketball through both his high school and college career.

She graduated from Central East High School in 2021, where she played varsity basketball as a center, wearing jersey #5 throughout her high school career.

As a sophomore, her team recorded a 20-10 season with a strong national and state ranking, and she remained a consistent player through her junior and senior years.

After high school, Inani continued her basketball journey at West Hills College Lemoore, competing in the California Community College Athletic Association.

Furthermore, as a freshman, she appeared in 23 games, starting nine of them, and averaged 2.5 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.

She maintained an impressive 59.1% field goal percentage, showing efficiency in the paint, and contributed with 8 blocks, 14 assists, and 7 steals throughout the season.

Inani Madden also plays club basketball for the Fresno Lady Heat. In addition to athletics, Cedric’s girlfriend also excels academically and aspires to become a nurse.

She also gained experience in customer service, where she developed strong problem-solving and communication skills.
