Taelor Nicole Derrick shared a troubling experience involving her family and Guerrero’s Boxing Gym & Fitness in Galt, California, in her Facebook post.

In a detailed post, she described what she felt was unfair treatment of her child by the gym’s owners.

The post centered around themes of professionalism, respect, and the contradiction between the gym’s anti-bullying signage and the behavior she witnessed.

Mother Speaks Out After Child Unexpectedly Dismissed from Guerrero’s Boxing Gym in Galt!

Taelor Nicole Derrick shared that her family had a negative experience at Guerrero’s Boxing Gym & Fitness in Galt, California.

When they first visited to sign up their daughter, the coach was welcoming.

But the owner’s wife suddenly yelled at Taelor’s husband in front of others, even though he had permission to let their younger daughter into the ring.

She didn’t introduce herself and only apologized after learning they were potential customers, blaming her behavior on being sick.

Despite this, the family returned the next day, expecting their daughter to train.

Instead, Taelor was called into an office with strangers and told they were being refunded and dismissed because the owner’s wife had a “bad day.”

Taelor felt this was unprofessional, embarrassing, and possibly discriminatory, especially since they had done nothing wrong.

At the end of her post, she warned others not to bring their kids there unless they’re okay with being judged unfairly, saying:

I never write long reviews but I hope they read this and understand that an ego trip or even a bad day can make for bad business for them. I wouldn’t bring my kids here unless you are okay with being judged and chastised for no apparent reason. I understand that people have a right to choose who to do business with, but this was extremely unprofessional on their part. We did nothing wrong!

Her post quickly drew support from the community members.

One commenter encouraged her to share the story on platforms, saying:

Put this on the next door app and Google review. You can also share to the 916 times page they might post it.

Another expressed disbelief, calling the gym’s behavior “absolutely absurd,” further saying:

That’s absolutely wild being that you & yours are so sweet, polite & professional absolutely absurd behavior from them.

In her follow-up comment, Taelor Nicole Derrick expressed how deeply the incident affected her.

Further, she said that she was so shocked by the owner’s wife’s behavior that all she could do was walk away to avoid reacting emotionally.
