The community is mourning deeply after the tragic death of Elijah Brown, a young man remembered for his kindness, quiet spirit, and talent.

One of his first coaches, Devon Kelley, expressed his heartbreak, writing that he was the first to tell Elijah he was a quarterback.

With deep regrets, please keep Elijah Brown and family in your prayers,” Kelley said.

Many community members echoed that sentiment. “He had a sweet spirit, he was one of my daycare kids,” wrote Starr Terry.
