Notre Dame’s basketball player Hannah Hidalgo was introduced to basketball at a young age by her parents.

Hannah Hidalgo is a guard for the women’s basketball team at the University of Notre Dame.

Her siblings played basketball, and she also developed a passion for the sport. Hannah attended Paul VI High School, where she left a remarkable impression in various prestigious basketball tournaments.
She notably scored a record-breaking 26 points at the McDonald’s All-America Games, where she also tied the game record with 8 steals, earning her the Co-MVP title.

Hannah Hidalgo Parents: Father Orlando And Mother Tamara
Hannah Hidalgo, the third child of her parents, Orlando and Tamara, grew up in a family deeply passionate about basketball.
Her parents, both former basketball players, introduced her to the sport at a young age, fostering a strong connection with the game within the family.
Orlando, her father, played a pivotal role in her basketball journey, coaching her from an early age. He currently serves as the head coach of Life Center Academy in Burlington.
Tamara, Hannah’s mother, is an active presence on social media, often sharing updates about her daughter and sons’ accomplishments.
The family currently resides in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Tamara herself attended Life Center Academy and pursued her college education at Thomas Edison State University.
Her Parents Are Her Greatest Supporters
Hannah’s parents are her biggest supporters, just like any other parents. Her mother always takes the time to share her daughter’s achievements even with her busy schedule. She frequently posts about Hannah’s life events.

During an interview, Orlando fondly recalled noticing his daughter’s remarkable talent at the young age of six when she participated in a boys’ league and was awarded the coveted MVP title.
Hannah continued to compete with boys until her middle school years and remained actively involved with the Philly Triple Threat grassroots program.
Her youngest brother, Judah, who is two years younger than Hannah, also plays basketball and grew up competing with his older sister.
He won his first MVP when he was only seven years old. Hannah also has two older brothers who were also engaged in basketball.
