Jeff Brohm, born on April 24, 1971, in Louisville, Kentucky, has carved out a distinguished career in football, both as a player and a coach.

After a successful stint as a quarterback at the University of Louisville from 1989 to 1993, Brohm moved on to a professional career, playing seven seasons in the NFL and earning a spot on the All-XFL Team in 2001.

Brohm’s coaching career began in 2002, initially working with the Louisville Fire before joining the University of Louisville’s staff as an assistant coach in 2003.

Over the next few years, Brohm moved to different programs, including Florida Atlantic, Illinois, and UAB, before taking the head coaching position at Western Kentucky in 2014.

In 2017, Brohm took over the Purdue football program, revitalizing the team and achieving significant success, including a Big Ten West title in 2022.

In 2023, Brohm returned to Louisville as head coach, guiding the Cardinals to an impressive 10–4 record in his first season back at his alma mater.

The head coach, Jeff Brohm, and Jennifer L. Hawkins married in 2003. The long-term couple has two children: a son named Brady and a daughter named Brooke.

Both of their children have followed in their father’s footsteps in the sports industry. Their son, Brady, 19, works at Louisville Football and is a graduate of the Louisville Cardinals.

Similarly, according to Facebook, he is a get-back coach at Purdue Football.

Whereas their daughter, Brooke, born in 2011, is a quarterback. The 15-year-old is playing flag football for the St. Bernard Wildcats in her first season.

While Jeff Brohm’s public career has placed his family in the spotlight, his wife, Jennifer L. Hawkins, has chosen to lead a more private life, staying away from the media attention that often surrounds the family of a prominent coach.
