Brehnan Rysdam was a young lacrosse player from Hermiston, Oregon, who made his mark as a goalie.
He represented the future of Hermiston High School’s lacrosse program as a dedicated member of the Class of 2028.
As the last line of defense, the goalie is one of the most critical positions in lacrosse, which requires quick reflexes, courage, and a sharp understanding of the game.
Rysdam’s role as the team’s goalie highlighted his skill and determination to protect the net for the Hermiston Bulldog. His commitment to the sport pointed to a promising future.

Brehnan Gregory Rysdam was the son of Kaira and Dustin Rysdam. His parents raised him in a close-knit and loving family alongside his two siblings.
Sadly, he passed away unexpectedly on November 13, 2025.
Brehnan’s life showed the power of family, kindness, and authentic connection.
His family built a strong bond, filled with togetherness and shared passions. They often shared glimpses of their joyful adventures and personal lives on social media.
Brehnan will be remembered for his kind heart and unwavering loyalty. His presence brought warmth and joy, making everyone around him feel seen and appreciated.
He had a gift for making people feel valued and loved, and those who knew him will forever cherish his humility, humor, and deep empathy.

Brehnan is survived by his loving parents, Dustin and Kaira Rysdam; his two siblings; and his grandmother, Shelli Rousseau.

A celebration of Brehnan’s life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Eastern Oregon Trade & Event Center, located at 1705 E. Airport Rd., Hermiston, OR.
The family invites guests to wear casual attire, camo, or a jersey in his honor.
His memory of Brehnan’s beautiful spirit will provide comfort and will be treasured forever.
