Rivlynn Margie Beth Lashley, a two-year-old girl from the Hernando area, passed away on June 29, 2026, leaving behind a family and community who describe her as a bright, joyful presence during her short time on earth. She was born on February 15, 2024, in Southaven, Mississippi.
Those who knew Rivlynn say she was, in every sense, a country girl at heart. She loved being outside, often seen running through the yard in her favorite boots or wandering through her family’s garden.
Green tomatoes brought her particular delight, and she spent countless hours playing among the vegetable rows and flower beds.
Animals were another great love of hers, especially chickens and their babies, which she cared for with a gentleness that family members say was remarkable for such a young child.
Green was her favorite color, fitting for a little girl so drawn to the outdoors and the natural world around her. Family members describe her as having a deep innocence and faith that showed itself in her smile and in small acts of kindness toward those around her.
