A young athlete from Horsham, William C. Teefy, passed away suddenly at the age of 17 on November 17, 2025.

William C. Teefy was affectionately known as “Lil Bill” to family and “Billy” to friends.

Lil Bill is survived by his parents, William J. and Dorothy (nee Marlin) Teefy, and by his siblings: his elder brother, Jesse Abruzzi; his sister-in-law, Katie; his little sister, Kaylee; and his nieces and nephews, Hadley, Leo, and Thomas.

He was a beloved grandson to his grandmother, Florence Teefy, and grandpa, Michael Marlin.

Lil Bill leaves behind his aunts Colleen (and Cathy Ramer), Melissa (married to Anthony Lapinski), Daniel (married to Tara), and Michael Jr. (married to Sara).

He will be missed by a bunch of cousins he treated like brothers and sisters: Daniel Patrick (and Alexandria), Colin, Mark, Liam, Brianna, Bailey, Leah, Alexandra, and Cora.

Born in Abington, Lil Bill lived his whole life in Horsham. Billy was the kind of kid who made every room better the second he walked in.

At Hatboro-Horsham High School, he was a senior honor student who excelled academically. In fact, he was already looking at colleges for next fall.

An avid sports fan, Lil Bill was passionate about Philadelphia sports and loved to attend games, especially the Eagles and 76ers.

Lately, he had landed a job at Ann’s Choice Senior Living Community in Warminster.

The viewing will be on Monday, November 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lehman Memorial United Methodist Church, 300 South York Road in Hatboro.

It will open again on Tuesday, November 25, at 10 a.m., with the funeral service starting at 11 a.m. Burial will be private for the family.

During this challenging phase, we pray for the strength of William C. Teefy’s parents, siblings, friends, teammates, and extended family.
