A youth football coach and a devoted father, Khalid Waleed, best known as Coach Tim, is falsely accused of a crime his family says he didn’t commit, which people say he did.

Meanwhile, a small town in Texas is rallying to help Coach Tim get out of jail.

Coach Tim is a devoted father to his two little boys, Nicolas, 7, and Noah, 9. Above all, they are already trying to be exactly like their dad.

In fact, his two kids mean the world to him. His youngest kid, Nicolas, aka Baby Nic, is a talented athlete with full energy, curiosity, and creativity.

Whereas his elder son, Noah, is thoughtful, kind, and always eager to follow in his father’s footsteps.

Everything was picture-perfect until a few weeks ago, when it flipped upside down. Tim got accused of something, and he is in jail.

Nobody in the family has said out loud what the charge is, but it’s something very bad. His family and friends swear up and down that he didn’t do it.

On November 22, 2025, Coach Tim took to his Facebook to share the exclusive news of his accusation, writing:

Need all my prayer warriors to pray 4 me. I’m falsely accused of a crime I didn’t commit, and I’m fighting for my freedom.

Meanwhile, he is being held on the bond, and he can’t get out because the bail money is far too high for his family to pay on their own.

This unprecedented situation has taken an emotional toll on his kids, who don’t understand why their father isn’t home. In fact, every day they ask when he’s coming back.

Hence, his best friend, Carlos Everett Thibodeaux, created a GoFundMe campaign called “Bring Tim (Khalid) Home to His Boys.

The proud dad of two, Tim, has always been a supportive father who cheered the loudest for his boys, helped them with homework late at night, and never missed their birthdays or school events.

Apart from being a devoted father, Tim is a praised football coach who believes in every child.

They put up pictures of Coach Tim hugging his kids after games and wrote about how he is a good dad who never misses practice or a school play.

Let’s bring this loving father and dedicated coach home where he belongs — with Nicolas, Noah,” read the GoFundMe campaign description.

His friends wrote:

Please support the cause if you can. Even a donation as little as $5 helps. It all adds up. The community is coming together to support Coach Tim

Thus far, $305 has been raised out of $2.6k goal.
