Adam Jones, a former MLB player, and his wife, Audie Fugett Jones, are proud parents of two kids, both sons: August and Alex. The couple is married for more than 9 years.

Aside from being a supportive wife & doting mother, Audie is an entrepreneur who runs a traveling agency Axeus Luxury Travel (January 2021- now).

The retired baseball player & his wife may be the exact opposite when it comes to academics (Adam didn’t go to college), but their dedication to the family barely differs.

Adam LaMarque Jones (b. August 1, 1985) played baseball in the MLB teams & NPB teams (Nippon Professional Baseball) from 2006 to 2021.

Upon retirement, he runs a podcast & is a full-time dad.

He was the first-round pick of the Seattle Mariners in the 2003 MLB draft but made his MLB debut after three years.

Throughout his 15 MLB seasons, the baseball outfielder played for teams like Seattle Mariners, Baltimore Orioles & Arizona Diamondbacks.

During his playing career, Jones won four Gold Glove Awards (2009, 2012, 2013 & 2014) & the 2013 Silver Slugger Award. Moreover, he was the five-time MLB All-Star honoree.

Adam Jones also represented Team USA in the World Baseball Classic in 2013 & 2017, winning the trophy in the latter.

The retired MLB player had a stellar career in baseball & now enjoys happy family perks with his wife Audie Jones (nee Fugett).

They welcomed their first child, a son named August Russell, on March 11, 2014, a few months prior to their marriage.

As reported, Audie told about her pregnancy to Adam before the All-Star Game in 2013.

The duo became parents for the second time with the birth of their second son Axel Jones, on February 16, 2016.

Jones’ Wife Audie Is The Daughter Of NFL Star

Maude Carolyn Fugett was born on March 27, 1986, to Jean Fugett, a former professional football player in the NFL, and Carlotta Fugett. Audie grew up with two brothers: Joseph and Reginald.

Moreover, Maude attended Ronald Park Country School, where she was the captain of the Ronald Park basketball team.

Audie helped the team get a second-place finish in the MIAA A Conference in 2004.

Furthermore, she was also involved in soccer and softball teams at Ronald Park.

Additionally, Mrs. Jones earned a BA from George Washington University, where she played women’s basketball.

Moreover, she wanted to major in criminal justice, so she later focused on her studies and joined the Fordham University School of Law.

Later, the talented women worked as associates for Anston Capital Partners. Furthermore, Fugett also served as a consultant for Hannix Consulting.

She helped with the due diligence of potential corporate acquisitions and turnarounds there.

Adam Jones, A Victim Of Racism?

Adam Jones, while playing for the Baltimore Orioles at Fenway Park, had to listen to racist comments. The player was hit by a bag of peanuts while playing the game.

“A disrespectful fan threw a bag of peanuts at me,’’ Jones said. “I was called the N-word a handful of times tonight. Thanks. Pretty awesome.’’

Despite having experienced racist taunts at Fenway Park before, Jones, one of just 62 African-Americans on opening-day rosters this year, said this was one of the worst incidents of his 12-year career.

Later, when the fan who threw peanut bags was caught, he was so grateful, but some part of him wished that the punishment would be much more severe.

Jones said it is a pathetic and cowardly act someone can do. The player also mentioned that the punishment of kicking them out of the stadium is not enough.

Those types of people must be fined, and we must make them pay for what they did. The outfielder furiously said that throwing something in the field might be dangerous to the players.

So, in his opinion, those types of acts must be handled properly.
