Hugh Pritchard Williamson IV, 48, passed away unexpectedly on September 5, 2025, at his home in Orlando, Florida.

Born on May 9, 1977, in Moscow, Idaho, Hugh spent his formative years in Menomonie, Wisconsin, after his family moved there in 1979.

Throughout his youth, Hugh actively participated in city and school district sports programs.

At Menomonie High School, he excelled in Cross Country, Basketball, and his favorite sport, Tennis.

He balanced his athletic pursuits with academics, graduating in the top 10% of his class in 1996.

Hugh continued his education at the University of Minnesota, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a Minor in Psychology from the Carlson School of Management in 2003.

While there, he pledged Beta Theta Pi, the same fraternity as his father.

Hugh built a successful career as a Professional Sales and Customer Service Specialist and Manager.

He worked from home, his office doubling as the space where he dedicated himself to his clients and employers.

Hugh consistently ranked among the top performers in sales and customer service, earning recognition for his professionalism, persistence, and commitment to excellence.

In 2023, as a Senior Financial Consultant, he ranked in the top 19% in active sales and 13% in lead conversion within his company.

Outside of work, Hugh had a wide range of interests. He loved listening to and recording his favorite music, TV shows, and movies, amassing an impressive collection.

He admired the art of French Impressionist Claude Monet, enjoyed playing chess, and had a passion for gaming and all things Star Wars, particularly his favorite character, Darth Vader.

Those who knew Hugh described him as intelligent, self-driven, persistent, reserved, and enigmatic.

Family held a special place in Hugh’s heart. He cherished his relatives in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and North Carolina, never missing a special occasion without a card, phone call, or gift.

He was known for his distinctive tastes, including a strong dislike of vegetables but a fondness for cheesecake, beef jerky, Dinty Moore Beef Stew, and Spaghettios.

Hugh is survived by his mother, Sheila Stori of Menomonie, WI; stepmother, Sarah Williamson of Murphy, NC; brother, Jacob Williamson of Madison, WI; half-sisters Mikaela (Nathan) Weber of Rosemount, MN, and Shea (Patrick) Stori-Ross of River Falls, WI; nephews Emerson Weber and Colin Ross; nieces Stella Weber and Evie Ross; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Wade Williamson; and maternal grandparents, Rueben J. Gehring and Virginia B. Miser Gehring.
