Hunter Greene’s sister, Libriti Green, recently graduated from Sherman Oaks Notre Dame High School. She is also a talented water polo player.

Christian Hunter Greene, born on August 6, 1999, is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds of Major League Baseball (MLB).

The Reds drafted him as the second overall pick in the 2017 MLB Draft. Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Greene developed his pitching abilities at the Major League Baseball Urban Youth Academy.

Instead of pursuing college baseball, Greene joined the Reds’ farm system after being drafted out of high school.

During the 2018 season, he experienced an injury to his ulnar collateral ligament, which required Tommy John surgery the following year.

However, his return to the mound was further delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nonetheless, he made an impressive comeback in 2021 and rapidly advanced through the minor leagues.

Greene secured a place on the Reds’ Opening Day roster in 2022. Impressively, he broke an MLB record in just his second major league game by throwing 39 pitches with a velocity exceeding 100 mph.

Greene’s impressive pitching abilities have garnered significant attention and excitement in baseball.

He currently plays alongside Kevin Newman, Curt Casali, Luke Weaver, Nick Senzel, Elly De La Cruz, and others for the Reds.

Hunter Greene lives in Stevenson Ranch, California, with his parents and younger siblings, a sister Libriti and a brother Ethan.

Libriti was born on April 17, 2005, and recently graduated from Notre Dame High School.

She was also a member of an award-winning debate team, showcasing her critical thinking and public speaking skills.

Additionally, Libriti actively played Water Polo for the high school team.  

Apart from her academic and athletic pursuits, Libriti is also involved in the medical field, as she assisted in 19 autopsies.

Since the age of 14, she has been assisting with autopsies at a private company in El Sereno called 1-800-AUTOPSY.

After high school, she has aspirations of attending medical school. She intends to apply to several prestigious institutions, such as Howard University, UCLA, and Johns Hopkins University.

Ethan, the family’s youngest member, was born on March 26, 2011. He is passionate about playing soccer and football, actively participating in both sports.

Libriti Greene was Diagnosed With Leukemia 

At the age of five, Libriti was diagnosed with a rare kind of Leukemia called Philidelphia Chromosome.

However, after a challenging four-year battle, she successfully went into remission, overcoming the illness.

She developed an interest in the medical field after being hospitalized and spending a significant amount of her childhood in the company of doctors and nurses.

Hunter Greene’s parents are Russell and Senta Greene. Russell worked as a private investigative officer, specializing in handling cases for VIPs and celebrities.

He has gained recognition in his field for being an expert in dealing with high-profile clients and their unique requirements.

Similarly, Hunter’s mother, Senta, is an educational consultant who offers guidance and support in the education industry.
