Andi Kemper, a Gymnastics Coach, alleges that she didn’t choose to walk away but was fired over a technicality.

Her time at Infinity Kids has come to an end after 2 years and 8 months. Sadly, she didn’t even have a chance to say goodbye to the fantastic athletes and families she’d coached.

Gymnastics was more than flips and routines for Andi Kemper.

It was a reminder of her true self, and she was a passionate teacher who found immense joy in helping children believe in their own abilities at Infinity Kids.

Her most incredible pride came from watching her students grow. Whether in the gym or from afar, Andi is always their biggest cheerleader, celebrating every achievement.

However, Kemper is focusing her energy on her family, her mental health, and a new dream in the dental field, with the intention of becoming a dentist one day.

This career shift is not a final goodbye to the gym, but a simple pause. The gymnastic world hasn’t seen the last of her, and Kemper plans to be back soon, ready to inspire once again.

When you know your worth, no one can make you feel worthless.

Astoria Gymnastics Coach Fired Over “Technicality,” Disputes Official Narrative

Andi Kemper, a coach at Infinity Kids Gymnastics for nearly three years, is speaking out after her employment was terminated.

She was fired over a “technicality” and not for her performance with athletes.

Kemper’s time at the gym ended after two years and eight months.

In a Facebook post, she clarified that her departure was not by choice.

The way you’re painting this makes it sound like I chose to walk away. I didn’t. I was fired. And not for anything performance-related, not for anything involving the kids, but over a technicality.

Kemper alleges the reason was “over a technicality,” specifically, missed deadlines for two competitive coach trainings.

She contends that the missed deadlines were used as a justification for her termination.

She pointed out that the October 31 deadline wasn’t a real reason and that such a mistake would not have been considered a reason for termination in the past.

Kemper mentioned that the kids lost a coach they loved over something that had nothing to do with her ability, knowledge, or commitment.

In an earlier, more personal post, she expressed her sadness at not being able to say a proper goodbye to the gymnasts and families she coached.

She directly apologized to her Silver Team and every kid she’d coached, telling them they were never just her gymnasts.

After 2 years and 8 months, my time at Infinity Kids has come to an end. I was let go over missed deadlines, and while I accept my part in that, my heart still hurts. I wish I’d had the chance to say goodbye to the amazing athletes and families I’ve coached. You’ve all meant more to me than you know.
