Bryan scored twice in the Cup Gambardella final at the Stade de France while playing for the Troyes U19 team, which won the competition in 2018.

On February 17, 2018, Mbeumo made his club’s senior debut in a 1-0 Ligue 1 victory over FC Metz.

During the 2019–20 season, culminating with a loss in the 2020 Championship play-off final, he made 47 appearances and scored 16 goals.

At the 2020 London Football Awards, Mbeumo received nominations for the EFL Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards in recognition of his contributions.
