The Utah Utes QB Bryson Barnes is believed to be Mormon. The Milford High graduate comes from a religious family native to Utah.
Barnes, 21, grew up on a farm in Utah with four siblings. His father, Chris, works on the railroad, and his mom, Stacy, helps the family with the pig farm.

Both his younger brothers are currently multisport athletes at Milford, and though the QB might be young, he has already tied the knot and is married to a dental hygienist.
Barnes had a stunning performance against USC, with his team scoring 34 points against Alex Grinch’s coached defense. But against Oregon Ducks, Barnes couldn’t weave his magic. He could only hit 15 of his 29 passes for only 136 yards.
Is Bryson Barnes Mormon? Barnes Religion & Ethnicity
Bryson Barnes’ family are believed to be Mormons. Recently, in an article published by CBS Sports, the football player’s brother is said to be on a Mormon mission.
The Utah Utes’ quarterback hasn’t said whether he will follow in his brother’s footsteps. And unlike many other football players, Bryson doesn’t look big on giving hints about his faith on social media handles.
In the 30 posts he has shared on Instagram, Bryson hasn’t once talked about his religion or shared any quote in the caption. Most players also have a quote on their bio, but Barnes doesn’t have that as well.

The 6’1 football player grew up in a pig farm near Milford. He has four siblings, three brothers and a sister. The five of them, with their parents, Chris and Stacy, own a farm home to 12,000 pigs.
In an interview, Bryson said helping his family raise the pigs taught him hard work.
Bryson is a multi-sports athlete, having run track, wrestled, and played basketball and baseball while at high school. His two younger brothers, Blake and Colton Barnes, have also followed in his footsteps.
Like his older brother, Blake plays multiple sports and is currently a senior at Milford High School. He is a wrestling state champion and plays as a wide receiver or a running back.
He is currently available on X (formerly Twitter) but isn’t very active; his Instagram handle is also private. Colton is a junior at Milford High School and plays either as a running back or a wide receiver.
He is available on Instagram with the username @colton.barnes20, and all his pictures are related to his sports training.
Bryson Barnes Wife, Brittlyn Barnes
Bryson Barnes wife, Brittlyn Barnes, recently became a registered dental hygienist. She completed her associate degree in 2020 from Utah Valley University and enrolled at Fortis College-Salt Lake City in 2021.
Until 2021, Brittlyn was working at Brookside Dental as a dental assistant, and earlier this year, she was a student dental hygienist.
Bryson and Brittlyn began dating while they were in high school. The young couple began dating in 2017, and in 2018, Bryson shared a first-anniversary post.
He captioned the post, “A year down with this beauty.” After graduating high school, the footballer went down on one knee as he proposed to his high school sweetheart.

On December 12, 2020, Bryson shared a series of photographs from his proposal night. Brittlyn captioned the post, “Living dream. I get to marry the love of my life. I am the luckiest girl to be loved by him.”
A couple of months after the engagement announcement, the couple tied the knot in February 2021. The wedding took place at Payson Utah Temple, with several of Bryson and Brittlyn’s attending the wedding ceremony.
Since their wedding, Brittlyn has shared sweet photographs of her and the QB. Though they might have married young, the two look like a perfect match.
