Jacoby Brissett’s Brothers Are Neither Dejon Brissett, a CFL Player Nor NBA Championship Winner Oshae Brissett

Jacoby Brissett, the Arizona Cardinals’ QB’s brother is not Dejon Brissett, a player who has also built his professional career in Football.

Dejon Briestt played college football at Richmond University before making his move to the Virginia Cavaliers.

Toronto Agronauts drafted him in the 2020 CFL Draft. He made his debut for the team in 2021 season, appearing in 14 games.

In the 2023 season, he played 18 regular-season games. He started 13 games, recording 594 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

Unfortunately, in 2024, he suffered a Knee injury, but despite the circumstances, he helped Toronto win the Grey Cup and achieved Most Valuable Canadian honors.

Coming into 2025, he has played over 71 games in the CFL, with more than 135 Receptions, over 1,905 receiving yards, and 12 Receiving Touchdowns.

He has been a constant target and contributor to the Canadian Football League team.

Oshae and Dejon are Sporting Siblings

On the other hand, Jacoby is not Oshae brother either. Oshae Brissett, infact is Dejon’s brother.

They are children of McKeitha McFarlane and Bernard Brissett, who divorced when the Brissett brothers were still quite young.

Growing up together in Mississauga, Ontario, the siblings developed a competitive nature, which is why they had a fantastic future in Sports.

Oshae Brisset’s NBA career began in 2019 and has played for multiple teams in his career: Toronto Raptors, Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics, and Philadelphia 76ers.

His best season of his NBA career came in 2024, when Boston Celtics won the NBA Championship against Dallas Mavericks.

He’s currently playing for Maccabi Tel Aviv in the EuroLeague and Israeli Ligat HaAl as of late 2025.

  • Jacoby Brissett had played for six NFL teams in his career: New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns, Washington Commanders , Arizona Cardinals.
  • He has played over 90 NFL Games, and is yet to win a Super Bowl in his career. Though, he came close winning the ring in 2016 when the Patriots won, but he didn’t play in the Post season.
  • Oshae Brissett has played 233 NBA games with career averages of 6.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game.
