The Borrusia Dortmund player Jadon Sancho grew up in Kennington, a lower-middle-class neighborhood. His father, Sean, is believed to have Jamaican and Guyanese descent. Sancho’s mother comes from Trinidad and Tobago.
Sean never tied the knot with Jadon’s mother. He raised his son in Kennington, the same place he grew up with his Guyanese father and Jamaican mother.
Until 12, Sancho lived with his mother and sister on the ground floor of Kennington’s Guinness Trust Estates. Sean used soccer as a way to connect with his son.
