Throughout the season, he showcased his versatility with rushing, receiving, and kick return touchdowns, totaling 460 rushing yards, 303 receiving yards, and four rushing touchdowns.
Gibbs was recognized as an honorable mention All-ACC return specialist.
Later, he transferred to the University of Alabama, where he made a significant impact.
In a game against #20 Arkansas, Gibbs rushed for 206 yards and two touchdowns.
He followed it up with 154 rushing yards against Texas A&M and three rushing touchdowns against #6 Tennessee.
In the 2022 season, Gibbs accumulated 926 rushing yards, seven rushing touchdowns, 444 receiving yards, and three receiving touchdowns.
