The stellar and deft Jamaal Franklin is an American-born professional basketball player who plays for the Converge FiberXers of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).

He previously played for the Sichuan Blue Whales, Shanxi Loongs, and Shanghai Sharks of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA).

Growing up in a remote area of Moreno Valley in Riverside County, California, Jamaal played three different sports at the beginning; basketball, football, and track and field, where he was deemed a decent state high jumper.

The player was not considered a significant high school recruit; he was too skinny, wild, and streaky a shooter to take a risk.

He noticeably outshined when he led the state of California in scoring and was ranked 24th best shooting guard of the class in 2009.

He, still and all, evolved into one of the best scorers’ aftermaths. Later, he spent three stints with a college basketball team and accumulated plenty of recognition before being drafted into an enormous parade, NBA.
