McCain’s fellow teammate Kelly Oubre Jr said,
“He’s fine. IT was very scary. He caught himself luckily. He didn’t fall flat on his back. He’s gonna feel it tomorrow. That’s kinda what we were telling him. He’s just gotta kinda take it easy and make sure he’s 100 percent for opening night.”

Prior to his injury, McCain had nine points and seven rebounds in the 23 minutes. If it were not for his injury, Jared would’ve definitely ended the match with more points.
As of now, no official statement has been published regarding Jared’s medical reports. This also means that his return to the Philadelphia 76ers has no specific timeline.
Because of his pending medical evaluation result, his status for the upcoming pre-season finale against the Orlando Magic remains uncertain.
Moreover, Jared’s team has promised to give regular updates on his recovery. However, his return to the court really depends on how much time he needs to heal from the fall.

Probably, our best player has been Jared McCain, which is pretty good. … He competes. He is tough, competes, (is) a shot-maker. He has been shooting the ball extremely well; great energy. He has a pretty good chance. I don’t want to put expectations out there, and I got to see more, but so far, he has been good.
