The Markham-born Canadian professional soccer player started playing soccer at the age of 4 for West Rouge SC.

Later, she represented Pickering SC until 2014 and played for Markham SC before moving to British Columbia in August 2017.

There Jayde enrolled in the residency program at the Super REX Academy of the Vancouver Whitecaps until 2019.

Her college career debut came in August 2019 for Michigan Wolverines, where she led the team to the 2021 Big Ten women’s soccer tournament title.

However, the defender started her club career with the American soccer club AFC Ann Arbor in April 2022 with 4 appearances during the season.

The 25-year-old signed her first professional contract in January 2023 with Manchester United for the English Women’s Super League, making her debut on May 7.

Moreover, before receiving her first senior cap in 2017, the 2020 Summer Olympics winner for Canada had previously represented Canada at various youth levels.
