Jeffery Michael Gordon, a former professional car racing driver, is an American stock car racing executive currently serving as the vice chairman for Hendrick Motorsports.

A master of the sport, Gordon is a four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, three-time Daytona 500 winner, and five-time Brickyard 400 winner.

Gordon’s professional racing career started in the Busch Series with Hugh Connerty Racing in 1990.

He only started racing full-time in 1993 in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series for Hendrick Motorsports.

Does Jeff Gordon Have A Brother?

Jeff Gordon was born in Vallejo, California, on August 4, 1971, and grew up in Pittsboro, Indiana.

As stated earlier, Gordon did not have a brother but grew up with a sister.

Meet Sister Kim Gordon

Kimberly Diane Gordon is the elder sister of Gordon. The siblings have an age gap of four years.

Not much is known about the NASCAR Hall of Famer’s sister. Kim had missed the first 80 victories of Gordon’s Cup career. She only came into the limelight when she joined her brother during the 2007 Nextel Cup.

On a personal note, Kim graduated from high school in Vallejo and chose to attend San Diego State, which was far away from the family’s home in northeast San Francisco.

Reportedly, Kim is now married and the mother of a son named Brandon Perry.

Jeff Gordon Parents

Jeff Gordon was born to his parents, Carol Ann Bickford and William Grinnell Gordon. He was just six months old when his parents got divorced.

John Bickford, his new stepfather, was his father figure after his mother remarried. It was John who started taking him to the racetrack.

Gordon’s stepfather bought a BMX bike for him when he was four years old. He also used to run laps at a makeshift racetrack that he and his stepfather converted from a fairground.

John always inspired Jeff to be better, and he consistently showed faith when Jeff didn’t do so well in his early days behind the wheel of a quarter midget.

On the other hand, Gordon’s mother had been actively involved in the racing world throughout her son’s racing career.

She even moved from Vallejo to Pittsboro, Indiana, with the family, supporting Gordon’s career choice as there were more opportunities for the young racer.
