Jennifer Schmitt, daughter-in-law of legendary football coach Bill Belichick, has recently sparked curiosity about her parents and familial background with her recent CBS Interview controversy.

Jennifer Schmitt, the daughter-in-law of legendary football coach Bill Belichick, is making headlines after throwing subtle but sharp criticism at his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson in the now-viral CBS interview.

Schmitt, who is married to Belichick’s son Stephen, commented publicly after Hudson drew backlash for interrupting CBS anchor Tony Dokoupil during an interview segment with the 72-year-old coach.

Bill Belichick’s Daughter-in-Law Jennifer Schmitt Seems to Think Jordon Hudson Acted Inappropriately in CBS Interview. In response to a Nikki Glaser defense of Jordan Hudson comment Schmitt (jenny__beee) wrote “publicists act in a professional manner and don’t ‘storm’ off set delaying an interview”

Furthermore, the interview, which was meant to promote Belichick’s book, took an awkward turn when his girlfriend, Hudson, allegedly stormed off the set and attempted to control the direction of the questions, particularly one about how she and Belichick first met.

This ongoing drama led Belichick’s daughter-in-law, Schmitt, to comment on the situation and criticize Hudson.

She wrote,

Publicists act in a professional manner and don’t ‘storm’ off-set, delaying an interview.

While she didn’t name Hudson directly, the message was clear. The remark came after former Patriots Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski jokingly suggested on their “Dudes on Dues” podcast that Hudson acted like Belichick’s publicist.

According to emails , Schmitt previously advised the University of North Carolina, where Belichick now coaches and Stephen serves on staff, not to refer to Stephen as “Bill’s son” in official communications. She also suggested the school avoid using photos of the two together, warning it could spark talk of nepotism.

Neither Hudson nor Schmitt has offered further comment, but online chatter continues to grow. Some social media users called Schmitt’s remark hypocritical, while others applauded her for speaking up.

Married to Belichick’s son, Stephen Belichick, Jennifer Schmitt has kept a relatively low public profile until now; however, the recent controversy has drawn curiosity about her parents and familial background.

Jennifer Schmitt Remains Tight-Lipped About Her Parents

Despite being the wife of a renowned American college football coach, Stephen C. Belichick, Jennifer Schmitt prefers to maintain a low profile and hasn’t shared anything about her parents and familial background.

According to reports, Jennifer Schmitt is a native of Baltimore, Maryland.

Moreover, she attended Perry High School and later graduated from Tufts University in Massachusetts with an occupational therapy degree.

Like her husband, Stephen, Jennifer is a former lacrosse player. She played on the lacrosse team at Rutgers University, where she met the love of her life, Stephen.

Years after dating, Jennifer and Stephen tied the knot on June 24, 2017, at the Siasconset Union Chapel in Nantucket.

Furthermore, Stephen Belichick and Jennifer Schmitt are proud parents of four children: two sons, Hayes William and Rocco Joseph, and two daughters, Blakley Rose and Quincy Grace.

In Case You Didn’t Know

  • Jennifer Schmitt and her husband, Stephen Belichick, have been happily married for over eight years.
  • They welcomed their first child, daughter Blakley Rose, on October 18, 2016, who is also Bill Belichick’s first grandchild.
