After coming out of the blue with shocking revelations that he has been married for more than two years, fans are curious to know who Jeremy Lin wife is.

Jeremy Shu-How Lin is a Taiwanese-American athlete who was born on August 23, 1988. He plays basketball professionally for the P. League+ (PLG) team Kaohsiung 17LIVE Steelers.

During the 2011ā€“12 season, he unexpectedly led the New York Knicks of the NBA to a winning turnaround. This led to the sparking cultural phenomenon that was dubbed “Linsanity.”

Lin is one of the few Asian Americans to have played in the NBA and the first person of Chinese or Taiwanese heritage to do so.

With the Toronto Raptors in 2019, he became the first Asian American to win an NBA championship.

Despite the nutritional constraints of his active life, the player shares an immense love for food and is often caught having his cheat days. 

Lin is a strong social activist and advocates against racial discrimination. He is using his influence to change the various narratives of the current society. 

The player has his own non-profit organization whose objective is community empowerment and cross-racial solidarity.

Is Jeremy Lin Married to Comedian Kristina Wong? 

This may come as news to the fans, but the former NBA star has been secretly married for more than 2 years. 

The former NBA player wrote, “It has also been hard for people to not know about such a major change.

He further added, “Finally sharing this beautiful day from over a couple of years ago. Iā€™m grateful to have found someone who loves me for who I am, to embrace my unique life, and to just do life with,ā€ Lin wrote in an Instagram post.

This was after keeping knowledge of his marriage to an anonymous partner quiet for many years.

Although Lin did not explicitly disclose the name of his wife in public, it is massively speculated that his wife is the comedian Kristina Wong.

American comedian Kristina Wong is most recognized for her work as a solo theater performer, performance artist, and actor.

She considers herself a feminist, and using satire, she frequently addresses issues of privilege, sex, and race, frequently in relation to the experience of Asian Americans.

Wong even has a whole section on her website where she sarcastically attacks the people who think she is married to J Lin with the title, “I Will Marry Jeremy Lin.”

Jeremy was born into the Christian family of Gie-Ming Lin and Shirley Lin, who emigrated from Taiwan to the United States in the mid-1970s.

Initially, the couple settled in Virginia before moving to Indiana, where they both attended universities to study engineering and computer science.

They hold dual citizenship with Taiwan and the United States. The couple has three sons, including Jeremy and his brothers Joseph and Josh. 

Lin’s maternal grandmother immigrated to Taiwan in the late 1940s from Pinghu, Zhejiang, in mainland China. His father is a Hoklo from Beidou, Changhua, Taiwan.

His mother has always been vocal bout her support for him. She would watch Jeremy run around the basketball court at Palo Alto High School while sitting alongside the other parents and cheering.

She would only move about during halftime, chatting with parents and instructors. When the game resumed, she would go back to her seat and watch her son closely.

His father, on the other hand, would stay silent but always confident in the abilities of his son.

He purposefully kept a low voice throughout the conversation and would attend each of his son’s games with his video camera.
