Juwan’s professional playing career lasted from 1994 to 2013, during which he achieved remarkable success. Following his retirement as a player, Juwan made a seamless transition to a coaching career in 2013.

Currently, Howard is the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines men’s team. Before this, he was an assistant coach for the Miami Heat. As a coach, Juwan won AP Coach of the Year in 2021.

Mother

Jenine Wardally was born on February 7, 1975, to Caribbean-American parents. Wardally is a writer, singer, entrepreneur, author, and philanthropist.

According to various sources, she has written books like Sons of the Dawn and Sons of the Dawn: A Basque Odyssey.

Janine and Juwan founded “The Juice Foundation” in memory of Juwan’s friend Lamont Juice Carter, who died due to stage 4 esophageal cancer in 2011. The organization was established to collect donations for charity to help health stores, local farmers, and medical equipment.

Howard Family’s Tribute To Grandma

Jett Howard’s grandmother, Jermin Wardally, was unable to make it to the 2023 NBA Draft with the rest of Howard’s family because she has Alzheimer’s.

Wardally had always been present on the bench throughout Howard’s whole career until she was diagnosed with the illness seven years ago.

The player has mentioned that Jermin has always believed in him and has always encouraged him to stick to his goal.

He did mention that his maternal grandma always wanted him to be in that position. When he got into that position, his grandmother couldn’t be there.

So, that was hard for both Jermin and Jett.

”She’s always been so hands-on with us, so I just wanted to make sure there was a way she was with us here tonight,” Howard said to Yahoo Sports.
