The love story of Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh and Sarah Feuerborn Harbaugh began in 2006 when they met at a P.F. Chang restaurant.

At that time, Jim Harbaugh was living a single life after his 2006 divorce from his first wife, Miah Harbaugh, and was working as a football coach at the University of San Diego.

On the other hand, Sarah Feuerborn Harbaugh worked as a Las Vegas real estate agent. The former footballer had gone to the city for a coaching convention.

When he met his future wife, Sarah, at the restaurant, she was getting takeout, and he went up to her and asked if he could meet her, as he shared in the interview with HBO’s Real Sports.

However, he revealed that Sarah did not agree to date him quickly as it took months of effort to impress her.

Furthermore, Sarah’s brother Marty Feuerborn even said their romance was not love at first sight, as Jim “chased her and chased her and chased her” to get Sarah’s attention.

Thankfully, it paid off, as the couple married in January 2008 after two years of dating.

Jim Harbaugh shares his children with Sarah Feuerborn Harbaugh!

It has been over 16 years since their marriage, and the couple has four beautiful children: two daughters, Addison Harbaugh and Katherine Harbaugh, and sons Jack Harbaugh and John Harbaugh.

They named their first son after their grandfather, Jack Harbaugh, who was a college football coach, and their second son named after his uncle, John Harbaugh, a Baltimore Ravens head coach.

The couple was expecting their fourth child in 2016, and he was born one month early, after which they had to keep him in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for 19 days.

It was a challenging time for the couple; however, after two and a half months, the son became as healthy as an average child and was even capable enough to travel out of the country.

Jim, a renowned football coach, often travels to different states and countries for his work, which keeps him away from his family.

However, despite his busy schedule, he tries to make time for his family; as his wife says, “The kids are so much happier when he is around.

Therefore, she also takes the children to his office, where they play around with him in the field.

Jim Harbaugh also shares three adult children, Jay and James, and a daughter, Grace, with his first wife, Miah Harbaugh.
