Former professional football player Jim Jeffcoat is the father of five kids- two daughters and three sons. Among them, his son, Jackson Jeffcoat, plays professional football for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League.
Aside from Jackson, all of Jim’s kids are athletes. The oldest one, Jaren, was a basketball player for the Norwich Cadets.
Similarly, his two daughters, Jacqueline and Jasmine, played collegiate basketball.
However, only Jackson made it to the professional level. Even though he was undrafted, Jackson began his professional league journey in 2014.

James Wilson Jeffcoat Jr., better known as Jim Jeffcoat, is a former American professional football player who spent fourteen years playing for the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills in the NFL.
Jeffcoat started his NFL career in 1983 after the Cowboys picked him in the 1983 draft. Following this, he appeared in eleven seasons for them, winning two Super Bowls before his move to the Bills.
After retiring from his NFL career, Jim started coaching football and remained active until 2020. He last served as an assistant football coach for the Dallas Renegades of the XFL.
Jim Jeffcoat Son: Meet Jaren & Jackson Jeffcoat
As mentioned above, Jim Jeffcoat had three sons and two daughters. Among them, Jackson Jeffcoat is the most famous, as he later played professional football in Canada and the United States, following in his dad’s footsteps.
Jackson was born, alongside his twin sister, Jacqueline, on December 26, 1990, in Dallas, Texas.
Growing up, he played various sports, including track and field, basketball, and football.

Although he was a four-time letter-winner in basketball and a three-year letter-winner in track and field, his high school football coach, Mike Hughes, suggested he focus on football.
His high school football career was a huge success. Aside from becoming a two-time first-team all-state defensive end, he was named a High School All-American by various reputed sports magazines, such as EA Sports and Parade.
Jackson later played college football for the Texas Longhorns. However, he went undrafted in the 2014 NFL draft after college. He tried making a career in the NFL until 2017, joining different teams, including Seattle, Cleveland, and Washington, but to no avail.
Jeffcoat eventually signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL on February 21, 2017.
Speaking of his older brother, Jaren is the oldest son of Jim and Tammy Jeffcoat. He played varsity basketball for four years at Plano West High School.
After graduating, Jaren later attended Norwich University, where he played basketball for the Cadets and pursued a Communications and Media Studies degree. He graduated college in 2011.
He works as a personal lines underwriter at Vermont Mutual Insurance Group in Montpelier as of this writing.

Aside from Jaren and Jackson, the rest of Jim Jeffcoat’s kids were also athletes.
Jackson’s twin sister Jacqueline was a collegiate athlete at Texas State University. She played basketball for the Texas State Bobcats women’s basketball team until 2014.
However, she left her playing career after college. She has an undergraduate degree in Communications.

Likewise, Jim’s younger daughter, Jasmine, played basketball for the Denver Pioneers, aside from continuing her studies. She has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Denver.
In 2021, she enrolled as a graduate student at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, where she played basketball for a season.
Jim also has a youngest son named Quinton. However, not much is known about him.
