As a freshman, Leslie enrolled himself in football and basketball. He challenged Butler to a three-point shooting contest. Afterward, they became very close to each other.

Jordan Leslie went to Tomball High School in Tomball, Texas. He was a three-year varsity letter-winner for Tommy Kaiser, his coach. Leslie played for the BYU Cougars football team during his college time.

In his sophomore year, he shifted from quarterback to wide receiver. He earned All-Region Newcomer of the year by tallying 54 receptions for 770 yards and five touchdowns.

Leslie competed against Tulsa when he pulled in 10 catches for 218 yards. He set out a record during this, managing to become the sixth UTEP player ever to gain more than 200 receiving yards.  

While a Miner, he won the football team’s Dr. Diana Natalicio Academic Award. He also accumulated numerous mentions on the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll and C-USA All-Academic Honors. 

Furthermore, Leslie achieved 2,015 yards, 125 receptions, and 15 touchdowns in his three seasons in El Paso. 

During his junior season, he made 54 catches for 1,015 yards and 10 TDs. In addition, he also completed five punt returns for 49 yards and seven kick-off returns for 186 yards. 

As a senior, he assembled 55 catches for 742 yards and nine touchdowns. He also had eight punt returns for 113 yards and seven kick-off returns for 132 yards. 

Not to mention, Leslie was also a three-time Academic All-District pick. He also made it to the Academic All-State team.

Being a brother of Jimmy Butler, there is no way that Leslie wouldn’t have enrolled in basketball. Indeed, basketball was a catalyst for the beginning of the brotherhood bond between them. 

Even though Leslie was more into football, besides that, he also played basketball. He was extraordinary at basketball. He was multiple All-District choices in basketball. 

Leslie was also equally active in track and field. With a leap of 2.03 meters, he was a runner-up finisher in the high jump at the 2009 regional meet.

He also had 13.37 meters in the triple jump and personal-best leaps of 6.47 meters in the long jump. 

Jordan Leslie: Professional Career 

After a year with a new run-heavy head coach, Leslie knew it was time to step ahead further. So he started searching around for other places.  

Jordan Leslie played for Minnesota Vikings. They signed him as an undrafted free agent on May 2, 2015. However, they waived him from the group on August 31, 2015.

Likewise, on October 21, 2015, Leslie signed to the practice squad Jacksonville Jaguars. He also signed with the Atlanta Falcons practice squad on December 15, 2015. The Falcons cut him on August 27, 2016. 

Leslie signed with the Tennessee Titans practice squad on September 7, 2016. However, he got released from the team on October 3. 

Recently, Leslie has been a football trainer in Arizona.

Jordan Leslie: Experience in Cleveland Browns

Leslie signed to the Browns practice squad on October 18, 2016. Later he signed a future contract with the Browns in January 2017. However, the group renounced him on September 2, 2017. 

Leslie resigned from the Browns on September 19, 2017. Consequently, he was promoted to the active roster on September 22, 2017.

He achieved his first career pass in Week 3 when he grabbed a one-handed leap for 26 yards. Unfortunately, Leslie got injured, after which he was released on October 11, 2017.

Later he signed to the Denver Broncos practice squad. On January 1, 2018, he signed a reserve/future contract with the Broncos.
