Joe Flacco Made Joke About Football Quarterback Anthony Richardson’s Mom’s Age In a Light Hearted Manner

During a post-game interview, Joe Flacco humorously mentioned that Anthony Richardson’s mom is just eight days older than him, highlighting the age gap between him and the young quarterback’s family.

Anthony Richardson, 24, is a young talent quarterback drafted by the Indianapolis Colts.

He began his career at the University of Florida, where he played as a quarterback.

Moreover, he is known for his potential on the field, as he had 4,633 passing yards with 37 passing touchdowns during high school.

Richardson’s Mother, LaShawnda, Raised The NFL Star And His Siblings as a Single Parent

Anthony Richardson’s mom’s age recently became a heated topic when Colts backup quarterback Joe Flacco, 41, joked, saying he is just eight days older than her.

During the Colts’ Week 4 clash against the Steelers, rookie Richardson suffered a hip injury, forcing him out of the game.

Veteran Joe Flacco stepped in, guiding the team to a thrilling 27-24 victory. However, it wasn’t just Flacco’s on-field performance that drew attention.

In a post-game interview, a viral topic emerged—fans pointed out that Flacco is closer in age to Richardson’s mom than to Richardson himself.

This playful comparison highlighted the generational gap between the seasoned quarterback and the rising rookie, adding a unique twist to the storyline.

Anthony Richardson’s mother, LaShawnda, is around 41 years old. She was just 17 years old when he was born.

She raised him and his younger brother, Corey, as a single mother, working multiple jobs after separating from Richardson Sr.

Regardless, in June 2021, she married her second husband, Ferrel Cleare.

LaShawnda moved the family to Gainesville to provide a safer environment for her children, away from the previous neighborhood.

She once stated,

“Life in Miami was not good for us. I didn’t want my kids to grow up in that environment. I wanted to give them better, even if I had to struggle.”

Anthony has often spoken about the sacrifices his mother made and their close relationship.

He even released a rap song titled “Dear Mama,” in which he praises his mother for her dedication and hard work.

The song is a heartfelt tribute, acknowledging the challenges she faced while raising him and his brother as a single parent.

Anthony praises her strength, underlining how much she means to him and how her efforts have shaped his life.
