The former American basketball player Joe Wolf recently met an untimely demise at the age of 59 on September 26, 2024. Milwaukee Bucks announced the tragic news to the public a day later, releasing a lengthy statement on their Twitter page.

Meanwhile, they stated, “The Milwaukee Bucks and Wisconsin Herd are deeply saddened by the unexpected passing of Herd assistant coach and Kohler native Joe Wolf.”

Bucks also hurled praises at Joe for his talent on the court and tremendous contribution to the NBA for 37 years, saying, “Throughout his life, Joe touched many lives and was a highly respected, adored and dedicated coach and player across the NBA.”

Lastly, the Milwaukee Bucks addressed Joe Wolf as a beloved brother, uncle, friend, and community leader. However, they did not mention him being a husband.

Likewise, while sending prayers to his bereaved family, there’s no mention of his wife, probably suggesting that Joe Wolf was not together with his wife in his last days.

Well, any information on Joe Wolf’s married life is uncertain because he hardly flaunted his wife in public spaces when he was alive.

Joe Wolf met his wife, Jill Reich, in the early 90s while playing for Denver Nuggets!

Kohler native Joe Wolf was a player for the basketball team Denver Nuggets when he first came across his future wife, Jill Reich.

At the time, Jill was a basketball player at Machebeuf High School. Since their game of interest was the same, they probably got along well, soon fell in love, and eventually married.

Further information on when they tied the knot and whether or not they shared any kids is still unavailable. Whenever Joe Wolf shared his personal life on social media, it was either his mother or his nephew.

But, as The Denver Post reported, Joe was together with his wife Jill until 2016, and after that, what happened between them is uncertain.
