On January 10, 2025, Joey posted about having dental surgery, saying he was in a lot of pain and joking that he looked like Brent Burns, a hockey player known for missing teeth.
Fans got worried, wondering if Joey had fake teeth all along.
But no, his teeth were real. The truth came out on the Brilliantly Dumb podcast, where he revealed he has a genetic condition where his teeth have super small roots, so they are weak and have to be pulled.
Those teeth are gone now, and he’s getting dental implants.
Joey also shared a list of “do’s” and “don’ts” post-surgery, outlining the foods he can and can’t eat while recovering.
