Shay met John Cena by chance while he was filming Playing with Fire in Vancouver. Their initial meeting was a happy accident—Cena spotted Shay while dining out with friends.
In fact, Cena shared this story on The Howard Stern Show, recounting how he approached her to take a picture. That picture meant so much to him that he later framed it and hung it in his gym.
