Born on December 5, 1991, to Talita Ikahihifo and Thomas Bender, Niki hails from a family of doctors currently residing in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Niki’s sibling, Jade Ikahihifo-Bender, is an undergraduate researcher at South Carolina University.

Niki herself pursued her education at esteemed institutions, starting with her enrollment at Duke University Graduate School in 2013, where she earned her Master’s degree in Psychology in 2016.
