The 2017 Julius Erving Award & Senior CLASS Award winner saw his steps into the NBA as the 30th overall pick of the Utah Jazz in the 2017 NBA draft.

Shortly after, the Jazz traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers, where he would accompany the likes of Thomas Bryant, Brandon Ingram, Andre Ingram & Lonzo Ball.

After two seasons (2017-18 & 2018-19) with the Lakers, he joined the New Orleans Pelicans as part of a three-team trade, where he spent three seasons.

Then, Hart signed with Portland Trail Blazers on a three-year contract worth $37.2 million before they traded him to the Knicks in February 2023.

Josh Hart Brother: Moses Joseph Hart

Moses Joseph is the elder brother of the basketball player. The older brother practiced competitively with Josh, who is four years younger than him.

It continued until Josh got good enough to beat Moses on a regular basis. They would complete on hot summer evenings with Slurpees from 7-Eleven.

Further, they’d go out there in the winter sometimes. They would shovel half the court themselves and play until they got too cold.

Currently, Moses Joseph works as a Grill Cook at Island Wing Company Grill & Bar. The cook is experienced in the field having worked previously at Panera Bread and Applebee’s Grill + Bar.

The Silver Spring, Maryland native attended Northwood High School until 2009. Currently, he resides in Harrisonburg, Virginia, the same place as his workplace.

In his Facebook profile, his relationship status is single. However, he seems to have a son named KD (b. November 2021) and shares pictures of his baby on social media.

Despite drifting apart because of their career choices, Moses, Josh’s elder brother, still follows his brother’s game. He loves Josh and takes pride in his brother’s achievements.

Meet Sister Aimee

Aimee Hart is also an older sibling of Josh, who is the youngest of three siblings.

There isn’t much information known about her despite the fact that she is the only sister of Josh.

Josh Hart Parents: Moses & Pat Hart

Josh was born to Moses and Pat Hart in Silver Spring. Their family was not well-off and his parents had struggled hard to support him over the years.

Moses Hart was a chef at a catering company who would work until eight or nine at night. In spite of his tiredness from work, he would hit the court at 10 or 11 with Josh after coming home.

Josh’s mother, Pat, worked night shifts as a waitress at a nearby country club. She would often work double shifts to make ends meet.

Even though Moses grew up playing baseball, he was supportive of his son’s decision to play basketball. He taught Josh to be self-disciplined, and Pat invested herself to provide for her children.

Safe to say that their hard work has paid off as Josh has made a name for himself in the NBA.

Father Of Twins With His Wife Shannon Phillips

The NBA player has everything one dream of- a passion-turned-profession & a loving family of his own.

Josh lives with his high school girlfriend-turned-wife Shannon Phillips. The two met at Sidwell Friends School in 2011 & married after a decade of relationship in August 2021.

Their lavish wedding ceremony at One Hotel South Beach in Miami was no less than a filmy scene.

In December 2022, the Knick small forward & his wife Shannon took to Instagram & announced that they were expecting twins.

On May 12, 2023, the duo became parents to twin boys: Henry & Haze, and didn’t take long to share the news on their social media platforms.
