“It hurt really bad when it happened,” said Samuelson, who was scoreless in 25 minutes. “I sprained my ankle, and we just didn’t get the win.”

Stanford took the lead after the player hurt her right ankle before halftime when the Cardinals had taken an eight-point lead with a 13-1 run.

Karlie’s injury really gave them a tough time, as she was the glue to their team. Regardless, the athlete has bounced back and delivered when it is necessary.
