Sasha Minich alleges that Kylee Burns screamed profanity and made obscene gestures at her son, Keagan Schrecengost, during a school-sponsored athletic event.
She notified the game manager, but no action was taken, which made them laugh about the situation.
Karns City High School student-athlete Keagan Schrecengost recently stepped into the spotlight, representing his school at The Butler Eagle Media Day.
He is known for his talent on the football field and the basketball court, but it’s on the basketball court that his heart truly lies.
His basketball journey is a story of pure dedication. He struggled with dribbling in the seventh grade and was fouling out of games early.
However, he leaned in and always had a ball in his hand. He played on multiple teams and trained relentlessly to achieve incredible growth and commitment to the game.

Adult Misconduct Mars High School Basketball Game
A hard-fought basketball game between Karns City and Keystone should have been a display of student-athlete skill and sportsmanship.
Yet, the unacceptable behavior of adults in the stands disrupted it.
During the game, a parent from the opposing team, Kylee Burns, repeatedly shouted profanities in a gym filled with families and children.
She directed obscene gestures at Sasha Minich’s son, Keagan Schrecengost.
This is about adults verbally attacking a minor and thinking it’s funny.

According to Sasha’s detailed Facebook post, the conduct escalated from yelling “F-bombs” at referees to personally targeting her son.
Keagan fouled her son while trying to stop the clock, but held onto him so he wouldn’t fall, immediately apologized, and asked if he was okay.
Sasha alleges that Kylee Burns yelled that Keagan deserved a technical foul, and a man accompanying her, who seemed like her husband, yelled Keagan’s number, and then flipped him off.
Moreover, she claims Kylee then shouted “SUCK IT” at her son while making a crude gesture.
Despite Sasha notifying the game manager, she says no meaningful action was taken, and the adults involved were later seen laughing about the incident.
Kylee Burns later appeared to mock the situation on social media.
Well, that was a game well played. Funny how the tables turned for Karns City from the last game. AND NO, I DID NOT GET KICKED OUT. Yes, a mother from the other team wanted to come after me after the game. I stood in front of her until my son came out of the locker room. She had every opportunity to, but all I got was looks.

Keystone win….now let’s get these Steelers to win!!!!
Sasha emphasized that high school sports should teach respect and character, values completely absent from the alleged behavior.
Her post is a reminder that parents are supposed to be fans and fans support their own teams.
Adults taunting high school students and making crude gestures toward them is not only disrespectful, but it is also classless.
No child—mine or anyone else’s—should ever be spoken to or treated this way at a school event. Ever.
