Cannot put into words the thoughts, feelings or hurt over losing our Samantha. Times spent with Samantha will never be enough. I’m thankful for even the short amount of time God gave us with her. I will cherish the memory of our last phone call together when she said for the first, only and last time “Love you Mama.” I was happy being her “Bestie” as she always called me. Spending the last couple of days with Samantha’s true Mom and family I can see the combined pieces of all of them in her and her memories will forever be alive.

“You’re my very favorite person ❤️” Sam, I’ll always cherish your last words to me. I’m sorry I didn’t have a chance to say them back to you. I hope you knew the love I have for you. I’m going to miss our adventures with the dogs, and coming home to your cooking with Taylor Swift blaring on the record player. I only had a few short years to spend with you but you made me the happiest man and husband anyone could dream of. Your laugh and your smile were contagious and felt by everyone around. It’s what caught my eye the second you walked around that DG aisle. I’ll always remember the way you asked me on a date first to a baseball game and I couldn’t stop talking about you to everyone. You gave me that same giddy feeling daily. We had so many goals left to accomplish and this just doesn’t seem fair. I promise to give our dogs the best home I can. All the butt scratches for Bella and plenty of puppy pool days for our Leo. I’ll love you and remember you forever, My Sweet Bunny 🐰. Save me a slice of lemon cake.
