The American professional football player Keisean Nixon was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Compton, California, with his parents.
Less than a month after the Packers signed Keisean Nixon in March, his mom was diagnosed with breast cancer.
However, Nixon’s parents have maintained a low-key life, remaining out of the media limelight.

Keisean Nixon attended Salesian High School, where he participated in track and football as a running back and cornerback.
Later, he played college football at the Arizona Western before transferring to South Carolina.
In his debut season at South Carolina, Nixon participated in all 12 of the Gamecocks games, largely on special teams and as a backup defensive back. He also recovered a fumble and made an interception.
However, the cornerback’s professional career began in 2019 when the Oakland Raiders signed him as an undrafted free agent.
In March 2022, Nixon signed with the Green Bay Packers, recording seven combined tackles over Tampa Bay in the second game.
The 2022 NFL kickoff return yards leader made it into the first-team of the 2022 All-Pro Team.
Currently, he is on a one-year contract with the Packers, resigning the deal on March 15, 2023.
Keisean Nixon Parents
Mother Dwanique Spiller And Father
Keisean Nixon is not very active on social media and has not revealed the whereabouts of his parents either.
The NFL star has only three posts on his Instagram that too about his professional endeavors.
Moreover, there is no information available regarding the father of the Packer’s cornerback.
However, Nixon’s mother, Dwanique Spiller, is widely appreciated by his teammates.
Spiller worked as a snowboard instructor for inner-city children when Nixon was four years old.
She paid $100 for young Keisean to take an eight-hour snowboarding lesson.

It also served as a babysitting course, bringing him along so she could concentrate on instructing the children who truly knew how to negotiate a mountain.
During his youth, his mother adamantly prohibited him from taking part in a basketball game owing to his below-average academic performance.
Nixon received a special invitation from the coach to attend the game as a spectator, and his mother confirmed this arrangement.
However, due to an oversight on the coach’s part regarding Spiller’s inclusion, Nixon was unexpectedly granted the opportunity to play.
Just as abruptly, his mother arrived, swiftly pulled her son from the car, and promptly drove him home.
Dwanique Spiller: Proud Mom and Biggest Fan Of Nixon
Despite residing in Las Vegas, Dwanique Spiller usually makes it to all of her son’s home and away games.
However, after receiving a breast cancer diagnosis in April 2022, her doctor just gave her the all-clear to travel a few days before the Packers’ Monday Night Football game against the Rams.
She claimed that having cancer made her body “really sensitive” to cold and heat.
Spiller then reasoned that it would be savvier to go back to a December game in South Florida as opposed to Green Bay.

She landed in Wisconsin in December 2022 and attended the Packer’s walkthrough. Players hugged her and told her they loved playing with her son, calling her Mom and giving her hugs in return.
“I didn’t even know ’em, but they introduced themselves,” Spiller talked about the occasion. “It was just like a family thing. It was really nice. I could feel the love. When they talked about him, they lit up.”
