The North Lawrence, Ohio community mourns the untimely death of beloved businessman and avid sports fan, Robert Milliken.
According to his obituary, Robert Milliken passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at an untimely age of 65; however, his family has not yet revealed the actual cause of his untimely demise.
Born on July 29, 1960, to late parents Orland and Esther Milliken, Robert P. “Bob” Milliken was a cherished member of the Ohio sports community and touched the lives of many with his journey as a dedicated fan of the Kent State Basketball team and the Steelers.
Bob attended Tuslaw High School and graduated in 1978.
After high school, he attended Kent State University and graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Studies.
Robert Milliken was a lifelong fan, supporter, and season ticket holder of Kent State basketball, where he was a member of the Kowbell Krew.

In addition to being an avid sports fan, the late Robert Milliken was also a remarkable entrepreneur, primarily in real estate, and had many business partners over the years. He owned RPM Properties.
Furthermore, Robert sat on numerous HOA boards and was also a former president of the Stark DD board.
He loved travelling and spent the winters at his condo in Hawaii. Likewise, his love for theatre, operas, and live shows was immense.
Bob was a season ticket holder to Playhouse Square and Kent State Porthouse Theatre and never missed an opportunity to see Disco Inferno.
Similarly, Robert was known for his philanthropy and for his charitable work throughout his life.
Robert’Bob’ Milliken’s contributions to the North Lawrence, Ohio, community as an exceptional businessman, social worker, and avid sports and art fan will always be remembered.
Many of his loved ones are paying tribute to the late Robert Milliken and extending their heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time.

Robert Milliken is survived by his cousins, David Hefling and Louann Hurley, and countless friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Chapel of the Cross Global Methodist Church, 14411 Orrville St. W, North Lawrence.
Burial will be at Newmans Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 25, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
