Now a fellow mentor at Salford Education Authority, Ian recently shared a sweet video of his brother lifting former teammate Rob Burrow over the line in the Leeds Marathon.
The marathon was mainly organized to raise funds for the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Appeal.
The England coach was also joined by his wife, Lindsey, who strays away from the public spotlight.

Born on April 7, 1977, Ian is three years older than his brother and was the one to introduce him to rugby. The two brothers graduated from Saddleworth School and have had rugby careers polar opposite to one another.
If Kevin tasted success in every feat and also received an OBE title, then Ian had modest success, the one that didn’t make much noise or grab media headlines.
Ian’s rugby career began with Oldham in 1998 and spanned four seasons. He late returned to the team for a second stint in 2007 for one season. Ian played for four other teams, including a four-season stint with Swinton Lions.
The older brother of Kevin Sinfield is married to a woman named Victoria, and the couple share two boys. Both the boys have shown interest in rugby, with their oldest even representing England.
Born on January 6, 2005, Ian’s oldest son, Luke, represented England in the U-17 tournament in 2022. Luke plays for Saddleworth Rangers at a club level alongside his younger brother, Ben.

The better half of the defense coach of the England team has lived her life away from the public eye. She graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University and previously worked as a hairstylist at Oasis Hair Leeds.
The couple shares two kids, Jack, and Sam Sinfield, and both sons are looking to carry forward their father’s legacy. And the eldest one, Jack, is well and truly on his way.
Born on September 21, 2004, Jack made his debut for the Leeds Rhinos team in 2022. He has made six appearances for the Rhinos in the 2022 season and also played 14 times for the Under-18s Academy team.
With his teammates, Jack won the Academy Grand Final title and made two goals and two drop goals against their rivals, St Helens.
After his recent appearance against Salford Red Devils, Jack took to his Instagram handle to announce he was switching agencies and had joined Show Me The Money Sports.
