The Belgium native, born on 8 June 1983, was raised in a family with a strong athletic background. Her parents had experience in professional football and gymnastics.

Kim Clijsters started her professional tennis career in 1997 and faced tough competition from players like Justine Henin and Serena Williams.

Despite limited success in Belgian tennis, Clijsters broke barriers and became the first Belgian player, male or female, to reach the top spot in the world rankings.

Kim Clijsters’s husband, Brian Robert Lynch, had a career as a professional basketball player in the past. Currently, he is employed as a coach in the United States.

He was born in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, to Mary and Richard Lynch, who is of Irish descent. He grew up in Belmar and completed high school at Christian Brothers Academy.

His father, Richard Lynch, is a retired police chief from Belmar, New Jersey.

After graduating from Villanova in 2000, Lynch played professionally in Europe.

Later, He played forward for the Antwerp Diamond Giants in Belgium’s Pro Basketball League from 2008 to 2009.

Following his playing career, Lynch transitioned into coaching. He served as an assistant coach for the Antwerp Giants for the 2013 season and later signed a contract with Limburg United.

Lynch then became the head coach of Spirou Charleroi for the 2017-2018 season. However, he was later sacked by Spirou in November 2018.

Following his short stint at Spirou, Lynch returned to coach Limburg United during the 2018-2019 season.

Brian Lynch’s Married Life And Kids 

Lynch is happily married to Belgian tennis player Kim Clijsters. They tied the knot in a private and intimate ceremony on July 13, 2007, at the Bree city hall in Belgium.

Only their parents and siblings were present at the wedding. Kim Clijsters and Brian Lynch are proud parents to three children: one daughter and two sons.

The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Jada, on February 27, 2008.

They later announced on social media that they were expecting their second child, and on September 18, 2013, Clijsters gave birth to a son named Jack Leon Lynch.

In October 2016, their third child, a son named Blake Richard Lynch, was born.
