The inactive professional tennis player was born on 21 March 1992 in Louny, Czech Republic. She was born to supporting parents, Radek Plisek and Martina Pliskova.

She was only 13 years old when her father, Radek, was arrested by Police for tax fraud charges and put in jail for two years. Her mother, Martina, worked several jobs to look after the family.
