Allison Eaton, a beloved KU basketball player, passed away on July 18, 2025, leaving behind her family and the community she loved.

She is survived by her father and siblings and was predeceased by her mother during her teenage years.

Allison Eaton Was Passionate About KU Basketball!

Allison Eaton was a proud University of Kansas (KU) graduate, where she was an active student-athlete, especially in basketball. Additionally, she was an avid KU basketball fan.

Known for her encyclopedic knowledge of rock music, she had a deep love for dogs.

After her graduation, she dedicated her professional life to helping those in need.

She worked as a Crisis Care Coordinator at Austin Travis County Integral Care, as per her social media.

Despite her deeply caring and helping nature, Allison faced numerous challenges throughout her life, including ongoing health struggles and the devastating loss of her mother at a young age.

She struggled with a lifelong battle with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and time in the NICU as an infant.

Despite facing numerous health battles, she remained dedicated to her social service and continued to uplift others.

Tragically, she lost her life at a young age due to complications related to juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.

Her passing left a profound void in her family, including her beloved father and siblings, and in the community.

Brian Eaton, her beloved father, fondly remembered her and paid a heartfelt tribute, saying:

My youngest angel Allison passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Friday, July 18th. Her life was full of challenges, from spending the first weeks of her life in the NICU, to struggling with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis during most of her life, to the unexpected loss of her mother when she was just 16. Throughout her life, she showed extraordinary courage and determination. She was a proud KU graduate who devoted her professional life to helping those less fortunate than herself and especially those who had been pushed to the fringes of society. She was passionate about KU basketball, had an encyclopedic knowledge of rock music, and loved every dog she ever met. Godspeed my sweet angel. May our savior Jesus Christ welcome you with a loving embrace and fill you with everlasting peace and rest.

Likewise, one of her father’s well-wishers offered heartfelt support, saying,

will be with you and your Family if you need someone talk too you know we are here for you God bless you al

Despite her passing at a young age, Allison left behind a lasting legacy of kindness and selfless service.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Allison Eaton’s family, friends, and well-wishers.

Rest In Peace, Beautiful Soul!
