Jawan Pitts’s Mother and Grandmother Played a Significant Role in His and His Siblings Upbringing !
Pitts comes from a close-knit family that faced many hardships but always found a way to move ahead.
His mother had him when she was just 16 years old. She raised him and his brother on her own in a tough neighborhood in South Jersey.
Since she was the sole breadwinner of the family, they were tight on money. Still, she prioritized their needs over hers.
His mother ensured they had opportunities to play sports, study hard, learn music, and participate in after-school activities.
Today, his parents, including his mother, run a successful business. That said, details surrounding his father aren’t known.
Besides his mother, his maternal grandmother played a big part in his early years.
After his mother became a parent at such a young age, it was his grandmother who stepped in to offer support.
She appreciated his grandmother for staying calm and standing tall as the support system even during the darkest days.
