Lance Mountain | Early life and Education

The skating star Lance Mountain was born on June 13, 1964, in the Californian town of Pasadena.

His older brother was also a skateboarder at one point, but he no longer skates.

First and foremost, Lance learned about skateboarding from a friend. In 1975, his buddy Enrique Esparza gave him his board, which was the start of everything.

The skating community was confined to only five tricks back then. All of this was taught to the young skater by his pals and newspapers.

Lance, unlike other skaters who could prevent injury, was prone to mishaps. During his childhood, he suffered three injuries.

His parents forbade him from skating as a result of this. He, on the other hand, did not come to a halt.

He was also raised in a devout Christian household. As a result, he avoided drugs and smoking, unlike other kids.

Because of this, he was frequently ignored by the older skaters. But that didn’t stop him from going to the parks to practice.

From 1976 to 1980, he spent a lot of time at the skate parks in Lakewood, Marina, and Montebello.
