In the 2020 season, Faedo was a part of the Tiger’s 40-man roster. However, on December 19, 2020; he had to undergo Tommy John surgery on his throwing elbow.

This can be a huge game-changer for a baseball player. Faedo, having gone through surgery, missed one season in 2021 and made his comeback in 2022.

After posting a 2.53 ERA in three appearances for the Tigers, he was sent to the Toledo Mud Hens to find his form.
