Kay Yow National Coach of the Year, Larry Vickers and his wife, Charisse, have likely been together for over eight years.

Larry Vickers is the newly appointed head coach for Auburn University’s women’s basketball team.

Before joining Auburn, Larry Vickers was the head coach of Norfolk State University’s women’s basketball team.

He led Norfolk State to three consecutive MEAC Tournament titles (2023–2025) and four regular-season championships (2022–2025).

Under his leadership, the team achieved a record-breaking 30-win season, three consecutive conference championships, and NCAA Tournament appearances.

Recently, he expressed his excitement about leading Auburn’s program and outlined his vision for success.

Larry’s Beloved Wife Charisse Works As A Pediatrician At Norfolk Pediatrics!

Head coach Larry Vickers tied the knot with Charisse Carter on July 15, 2018.

The pair first crossed paths during their college years, where they began as friends and gradually developed a deeper connection.

Their relationship appears to have started sometime before 2017, blossoming from their close bond formed during their academic journey.

After several years of dating, the couple sealed their love in 2018 with a beautiful wedding ceremony at The Wimbish House.

Together, the pair has three children: one daughter, Ellie Christian, and two sons, Lincoln and Lane.

She is active on Instagram with the name handle @pieces_of_reese, where she frequently shares heartfelt moments with her family and husband.

Additionally, she shares pictures of her parents and her younger brother on social media.

Following her father’s passing over 17 years ago, she often posts heartfelt tributes and cherished memories of him.
